Sunday Transitions

Today our team continued its weekend transition in personnel. Tori and Tony are en route to Haiti and will complete the Week 2 team of 9 members when they arrive Monday.

We worshipped with Pastor Pierre's church this morning. It was wonderful to reconnect with our friends in that church, and make preliminary plans to open our clinic at the church tomorrow morning.

This afternoon we worked at ASHCA (formerly known as Francois's Orphanage). We returned with 3 wheelchairs - 2 that we collected last week modified over the week, and one that just arrived in Haiti with Naomi and Kayla. As God's hand continues to hold up this team and multiply our work, all 3 wheelchairs fit and worked perfectly by the end of the afternoon. We also provided functional hand splints for several children whom we had assessed on the last trip but did not have the needed splints in our inventory at that time. Because of a generous donation from Benik, we were able to fit all of the children who needed them. God is always faithful to provide exactly what is needed at exactly the right time.

Please pray for the upcoming week of clinic as we attempt to contact and follow up on patients seen last year, as well as continue to assess and treat new patients. Also pray for restful sleep for all team members as some of us recover from last week of service and the others recover from long travel days to get to Haiti.

May His favor rest upon us like dew. (Proverbs 19:12 paraphrased)
