Rule #1 of Travel - Expect the Unexpected

Right off the bat, the 2019 Z Team's travel plans were rearranged, due to bad weather in Chicago. After delays and re-routes, they are all now en route to Zambia. If everything else goes as scheduled, all team members are expected to get to Zambia by Monday. They will surely be exhausted from a full weekend of travel, but will hit the ground running. It will be rather miraculous if all of their checked luggage and supplies arrive with them. Keep them in prayer as they all continue to make their way to the destination of Macha Mission Hospital, for this opportunity to use physical therapy to minister to the people of Zambia.

Zambia 2019 Team is Packed and Ready!

The 2019 SBU DPT Zambia team had their packing party last week. Six SBU DPT students and two alums will leave for Macha, Zambia tomorrow for two full weeks of service alongside our ministry partners at Macha Mission Hospital. This team has been planning and preparing for months for this trip. Please cover them in prayer for safety, health, and energy levels throughout the next two weeks. Also pray that God will go before them to prepare hearts for spiritual conversations. Stay tuned to this blog for reports from the team. Godspeed!
