We are in the final hours for us all as we start our journey to Haiti! Today (Wednesday) has been pretty crazy and there is warfare starting even now, but the Lord is sovereign even over weather. He causes rain to fall on both the good and bad- so this weather pattern belongs to Him, just as our plans and travel itinerary is to belong to Him. He is the one who leads and we are the ones who follow.
With flights being cancelled into Dallas, now Sam gets to arrive in Haiti first, on Thursday. Brenna, Ryan, Jordan, Marilyn, and Melissa MAY arrive as scheduled, depending on continued weather issues. (Jordan and Co. look like they may have the chance to spend the night at the Whataburger in Dallas.) Bev, Tori, Charity, and Jess will not arrive to Haiti until Friday afternoon, with an unplanned trip to Kansas City and a 22 hour delay.
So, depending on who arrives in Haiti when, we will move forward with the plans.
Please pray for our check-ins, travels, and arrivals, including gettting all of the overwhelming amount of donated supplies with us to our destination. He is in charge!
